Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations used.
The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they don't keep the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that can increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be applied, as well as an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.

Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.
Some items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. upgrade item includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
